One of the largest tech M&A deals in India in 2024 included the purchase of the leading online ticket-booking platform TicketNew by a Restaurant discovery and delivery platform Zomato for slightly over $244M back in August. The transaction was aimed to enhance customer experience through a broader range of travel and entertainment services.
Interchange Systems, a provider of container tracking software solutions was acquired by MRI Software, a developer of real estate and investment management software. With the seller’s expertise in container maintenance operations and electronic data interchange, the US-based buyer that has traditionally known for its property management offerings has now expanded into the logistics space.
In the Indian real estate tech space Propviz, a developer of 3D visualization technology, was bought by property platform Magicbricks to help it boost customer engagement capabilities by providing better user experiences for property buyers and sellers on the platform.
In December, Searchlight Health sold its advanced analytics and patient engagement tools to California-based healthcare software provider Apollo Health, which is backed by Advent International, for nearly $8M. The deal allowed the buyer to enhance its healthcare tech ecosystem for a growing userbase and strengthen its presence in the Indian healthcare market.
